We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Architect with hands-on expertise in building and managing large-scale retail data platforms. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the ingestion of data from various retail sources (POS, ERP, OMS, e-commerce, and supply chain systems) using tools such as Fivetran, Airbyte, and Snowflake native integrations. The project involves data modeling in Snowflake and delivering analytics through Sigma to support business needs. A key part of this role is ownership of FinOps processes to ensure cost-effective data operations, including establishing warehouse sizing standards, optimizing queries, implementing workload tagging and chargeback, and improving cost-per-insight visibility. You will also be expected to coach junior engineers and communicate with senior leadership, requiring both technical and domain fluency in retail analytics. Experience with Sigma or similar BI tools and a proven track record in retail data are essential.
