Job Description

The role involves converting data from project specifications and statements of problems to create or modify computer programs. Duties include preparing detailed specifications, analyzing computer capabilities, conferring with supervisors, and converting specifications to computer processable language. Responsibilities also include entering program codes, testing programs, correcting errors, and documenting program development. The position requires writing programs to solve problems, analyzing system outlines, assisting in software-related solutions, and training others as necessary while working under general supervision.

Requirements

Experience:

• 8 years:
• Web development in ASP .Net and C#
• Web development with strong JavaScript skills
• Web development and a SQL Server backend database
• Object-oriented programming
• Experience with development using the Agile method
• Experience developing in Microsoft’s MVC 5.0 framework, including Razor
• 5 years:
• Experience with SQL Server reporting services
• Experience working with Entity Framework ORM
• Experience working with jQuery JavaScript framework
• 3 years:
• Experience with unit testing

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree

Location:

• Local candidates ONLY; must be located within 1 hour of Lansing, MI at the time of submission.
• Position is a hybrid schedule; NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION (required in-person days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
• Working hours are Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additional Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorships are not available.
• Must undergo a background check and drug screening for employment.

Employment Terms

• This is a W2 position.
• 40 hours per week.
• HYBRID schedule; NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION (required in-person days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
