Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certent CDM Developer to support financial reporting, disclosure management, and SEC filing automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Certent Disclosure Management along with advanced Microsoft Excel automation skills, including VBA/macros.

The role involves developing and enhancing financial reporting solutions, automating disclosure processes, integrating enterprise data sources, and collaborating with Finance and Accounting teams.

Requirements

Experience Required

• 6–8 years of experience in Certent CDM development or financial systems development
• Strong hands-on experience with Certent Disclosure Management
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel automation
• Strong experience with:
• VLOOKUP
• XLOOKUP
• INDEX-MATCH
• Pivot Tables
• Dashboards
• Data Modeling
• Strong VBA and Macro scripting experience
• Experience with SEC filing processes and financial reporting automation
• Knowledge of XBRL tagging and disclosure processes
• Experience in data integration, transformation, and validation
• Experience integrating with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Certent CDM solutions for financial reporting and disclosures
• Build and enhance automation workflows for SEC filings including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
• Configure and customize Certent templates, reports, and business rules
• Develop and support Excel-based automation, macros, and reusable reporting components
• Create and optimize complex Excel models, dashboards, and validation frameworks
• Implement reconciliation logic and automated tie-out processes
• Develop integrations between ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Certent CDM
• Support XBRL tagging automation and filing processes
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Audit teams to gather and implement business requirements
• Troubleshoot technical issues, data inconsistencies, and reporting defects
• Identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvements
