Job Description

As a Senior Machine Learning (ML) Engineer, you will collaborate with different teams to transition models into scalable production code and embrace ML Engineering best practices.
Note: This is an 8-month full-time temporary role.
Responsibilities
Model Development & Research:
- Design, build, and test machine learning models and algorithms using established architectures like Transformers and Deep Learning.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and drive end-to-end data science solutions.
- Lead AI strategy and implementation for Generative AI and RAG solutions.
- Perform feature engineering and evaluate models’ accuracy and performance.
MLOps:
- Deploy models for customers and transition them to production through MLOps.
- Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Establish ongoing model retraining, monitoring, and optimization.
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform for managing AI/ML infrastructure.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work cross-functionally with various teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Mentor and coach developers and junior designers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Data Architecture.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in GenAI, NLP, and building production grade systems.
- Experience in retail and consumer product industries is highly valued.
- Proficient in Python (preferred), Java, R, and SQL.
- Knowledge of frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of probability, statistics, and ML algorithms.
- Excellent communication skills for technical topics.
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation
The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $69.76 - $111.61/hour, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
