Job Description

Seeking a versatile, travel-ready freelance videographer to partner with on an ongoing basis for Very Decent Marketer, a dynamic marketing agency specializing in high-impact social media content. The agency wants to produce engaging, short-form videos for personal injury lawyers, designed specifically to perform well on Facebook and Instagram.

Requirements

A reliable shooter who can confidently direct non-actors (lawyers) to deliver lines directly to the camera. You will fly to various locations across the continental US to capture short-form social media content.

You must be proficient in shooting three distinct direct-to-camera styles:

• Static: Simple point-and-shoot setups utilizing a teleprompter.
• Dynamic: High-energy, handheld whip-pan videos requiring smooth, intentional camera movement.
• Aerial: Drone footage capturing the subject from unique vantage points.

You will be operating as an independent contractor and are required to provide your own gear. Only apply if you own and can travel with the following equipment:

• Professional Video Camera (2 cameras highly preferred for multi-angle setups)
• Tripod(s)
• Professional Lighting Kit
• Lapel/Lavalier Microphone(s)
• Drone
• Teleprompter

Skills

• Strong skills in videography, photography, and filming techniques
• Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and technical challenges while maintaining high-quality standards
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects across various locations

Compensation

Day trip (no overnight stay required) pays $500 per job. Overnight trip (hotel stay required) pays $1,000 per job. Expected volume: 10 to 20 jobs per year, on an ongoing basis. The company covers the cost of flights and hotels. This is a fantastic opportunity for a freelancer looking for steady, predictable travel gigs to supplement their calendar.

Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per day
