Job Description
We are looking for a local Tampa-based Freelance Pre-Press Artist & Graphic Designer with hands-on screen printing experience. This is a contract, project-based position. You work from your own space — we come to you for film pickup.
Responsibilities
- Run color separations for screen printing
- Output and print film positives using your own equipment
- Build, redraw, and clean up vector artwork
- Create digital proofs and garment mockups for client approval
- Modify and recreate customer-supplied artwork to be print-ready
- Communicate turnaround times and project details professionally
Requirements
- Must be local to Tampa Bay, FL
- Must have your own film printing equipment and capability
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience with screen printing pre-press and color separations
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
Compensation
This is a contract position paid per project. Rate is set by the artist. Compensation varies based on scope and complexity of work. Pay starts from $20.00 per hour.
