Velvet Hour

Velvet Hour is an independent album by Jay Jaxon, set to release in about 70 days, blending soul, R&B, and storytelling in a cinematic late-night style inspired by themes of isolation, relationships, ambition, and self-reflection. I am looking for management support during the rollout phase to help plan and organize ideas, coordinate and schedule content, manage posts and audience engagement, participate in calls and creative discussions, and help structure the release strategy while managing rollout materials. This position is remote and ideal for someone interested in developing alongside an emerging artist. Experience is appreciated but is not required; open communication and a genuine interest in building an artist’s career are most important. Compensation is open for discussion and transparency, as the project balances limited resources between marketing, visuals, and production. Long-term collaboration and growth are possible as the project develops. Jay Jaxon, the artist, is a New York City-based soul/R&B musician with a history of visual storytelling and atmospheric music. Previous releases include VISUALS EP and ONLY YOU AND THIS BLUNT.
