Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and pre-process raw data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining databases and data systems, ensuring secure and efficient data storage.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies using statistical techniques.
  • Create clear and concise data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Support senior analysts in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of data-driven solutions.
  • Document data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong foundational understanding of statistical concepts and their application.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and analytical techniques.

Qualifications

  • Prior internship or academic project experience involving data analysis or manipulation.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis.
  • Understanding of basic data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and methodologies.
