Job Description
The role involves designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related Microsoft technologies. Responsibilities include building and maintaining Power BI dashboards as well as creating data models and visualizations for reporting. The candidate will support various application developments, including web forms, APIs, and business applications, along with documenting system changes and providing mentorship to junior developers.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in application development and programming.
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, or .NET Core.
- Strong hands-on experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and data visualizations.
- Experience with SQL database development, reporting queries, stored procedures, and data troubleshooting.
- Experience building web forms, APIs, and business applications.
- Experience supporting web applications and web server environments.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and deliver reliable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership, IT staff, and end users.
- Ability to support and mentor junior or lower-tier developers.
Power BI and Reporting Focus
- Develop operational dashboards that help agency leadership monitor performance and service delivery.
- Create clean reporting models using consistent fields and accurate relationships.
- Improve existing reports for usability, visual design, and data accuracy.
- Define reporting requirements with stakeholders.
- Support data-driven decision-making by converting raw data into actionable information.
.NET and Application Development Focus
- Build and maintain internal web applications that support agency operations.
- Develop APIs and integrations that automate workflows.
- Improve applications for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Use secure coding practices when developing applications.
- Coordinate with MIS staff to align applications with agency standards.
Additional Information
Pay: $74,000.00 per year
