Job Description

We are a Restaurant Social Media Marketing Agency, dedicated to making restaurants look incredible on Instagram. We are looking for someone in Westchester to capture the magic of food, from the steam rising off pasta to the incredible cheese pulls.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a lot of experience; if you have a creative eye, a good attitude, and a desire to learn, we’ll provide all the training you need.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Visit restaurants across Westchester to film food and other content for Instagram Reels.
• Capture engaging shots, including close-ups and slow-motion footage.
• Deliver raw footage for editing purposes.
• Enjoy the food visually and, occasionally, by tasting.

Schedule:

• 2 filming days every other week
• 10 hours bi-weekly
• 20 hours monthly
• Flexible timing, coordinated with restaurants

Ideal Candidates:

• Beginners are welcome, as training will be provided.
• Film students seeking paid experience and portfolio work.
• Aspiring creators wanting hands-on training.

You Will Succeed If You:

• Live in or near Westchester County and have reliable transportation.
• Have a creative eye and attention to detail.
• Are eager to learn.
• Consistently arrive on time.
• Enjoy food, as you’ll be around it frequently.
• Get along well with restaurant staff.
• Are comfortable handling a camera, regardless of prior experience.

Bonus Points (Not Required):

• Previous video work or personal projects.
• Familiarity with DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
• Experience with short-form vertical content.
• A portfolio or an Instagram feed you’re proud of.

Additional Information

Compensation: $17/hr, paid bi-weekly.

• All necessary gear will be provided.
• You will receive hands-on training in food videography and content creation.
• Clear shot lists will be provided to guide filming.
• Access to incredible food experiences across Westchester.
• Potential for additional hours as the business grows.

Important Notes: The hours may vary with the growth of the business, and a 30-day written notice will be given for any major schedule changes. We aim for transparency with our schedule.
