Job Description

We are hiring a creative and energetic Social Media Content Creator to join our dynamic marketing team at our Seafood Market. This role involves utilizing platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook to craft engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences. The ideal candidate should be bursting with innovative ideas, passionate about food, and excels at creating viral content that captures attention.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging daily/weekly content for Instagram, TikTok & Facebook
• Develop marketing strategies to increase store traffic and brand awareness
• Run and manage social media advertising campaigns
• Capture fresh seafood arrivals, cooking videos, customer interactions
• Film content at various locations such as our storefront, mobile trucks, gated communities & farmers markets
• Edit reels and short-form videos that fit current trends
• Help grow our audience and strengthen our local brand presence
• Showcase the personality, quality, and authenticity behind our business

Requirements

• Experience creating social media content
• Strong photo/video editing skills using a phone or editing apps
• Creative storyteller with an eye for food content
• Comfortable being on location and capturing live market environments
• Reliable, self-motivated, and consistent
• Bonus if you love seafood, grilling, cooking, or local market culture
• Proficiency in graphic design software
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and web analytics tools like Google Analytics
• Strong understanding of social media marketing strategies including Instagram, TikTok & Facebook Advertising and branding techniques
• Ability to produce engaging multimedia content such as photography and video editing tailored for digital audiences
• Excellent proofreading skills to ensure all content is polished and aligned with brand voice

Compensation
