Job Description

You know that great design is in the details. In this freelance role, you will be responsible for collaborating with the core team, under the leadership of the Design Director, to fulfill the creative vision for the customer. You will have the opportunity to maintain brand equity through design choices that meet the business needs of the brand.

In this role you will:

• Create design solutions for print and digital executions – understands brand hallmarks, identity development, typography, design theory, etc.
• Work with the Associate Design Director and Sr. Brand Designer to leverage new approaches and design tools for the Creative Team
• Research design processes, methodologies, and historical and current trends in design and creates solutions that are grounded in rational thinking

Requirements

Essential Requirements:

• 4-7 years in an agency setting, preferably pharma/healthcare agency
• Proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, and Sketch
• Ability to articulate your design rationale and embrace feedback
• Creative problem-solver who can navigate tight deadlines and budget constraints

Desired Requirements:

• Able to explore Brand Architecture solutions
• Able to explore Design Theme solutions

Compensation

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $55 but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
