Job Description

This is a remote position. We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments. As a key contributor to our digital transformation initiatives, you will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability, optimizing cloud costs, and enabling rapid deployment of innovative solutions. Your expertise in cloud architecture, automation, and DevOps practices will directly impact the agility, security, and efficiency of our technology stack. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure management.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Sensible, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments (VPCs, IAM, firewalls, etc.).
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Engineer are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using cloud-native tools and third-party solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, data privacy regulations, and internal policies.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and reduce operational costs through right-sizing and tagging strategies.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support application lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and performance issues in production environments.
• Document architecture designs, operational procedures, and incident response protocols.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and industry standards.
