Live performance at conference (paid audio tech needed)
Audio Engineer is needed in Ottawa, Canada.
We require a professional audio technician for a live band performance taking place at a conference on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Horticultural Building, Lansdowne Park, Ottawa. The performance is for the band ‘Around The Clock - Top 40 cover band’, which consists of 5 musicians: lead vocals, electric guitar, electric bass, keyboards, and drums. The audio tech will manage sound for the event, including 3 vocal mics, drum mics (5), and DIs for bass and keyboards. All necessary sound and lighting, audio mixer, stage, and related equipment are provided by the conference. The schedule involves a 3 pm band load in and setup, 4 pm sound check, and the live performance from 5:45 pm to 8 pm (two 60-minute sets with a 15-minute break). A stage plot will be provided once the contractor is confirmed. More information about the band and event can be shared as needed.
