Job Description

Sportskeeda is seeking a hybrid Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer who can execute premium, Vox-style visual essays. This role requires a creator who can translate complex sports narratives into polished visual masterpieces, balancing both editorial pacing (50%) and data-driven motion design (50%).

Key Responsibilities

• Explainer-Style Video Editing (50%): Manage narrative pacing for long-form video essays, source high-quality archival assets, and craft rich soundscapes.
• Journalism-Driven Motion Graphics (50%): Create data visualizations (charts, maps, graphs) and execute “Vox-aesthetic” animations, including kinetic typography and dynamic UI mockups.

Requirements

• Portfolio: Must demonstrate high-end explainer content or visual essay styles.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Editorial Skills: Strong understanding of journalistic pacing and storytelling.
• Sports Literacy: A deep appreciation for sports analytics and culture is highly preferred.
