sound proofing
Sound Engineer is needed in Washington, United States.
I am seeking a professional acoustical assessment of my attached rowhouse in Washington, DC, which shares party walls with adjacent homes. The main goal is to identify the primary paths of noise transmission, assess the current acoustic performance of the property, and receive practical recommendations for noise reduction and improved acoustic privacy. The acoustic engineer will be required to perform a site inspection, evaluate the construction and condition of party walls, floors, ceilings, and other relevant building elements, and assess both airborne and structure-borne sound transmission. The assessment should identify weak points and, where appropriate, include field measurements of noise levels and performance metrics. The final deliverable should be a report summarizing findings, measurement results, recommended remediation options, and expected improvements.
