Job Description

This is a remote position. Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is seeking a “Senior Data Scientist / Architect (Fully Remote).” The role is a Long-Term Contract with the possibility of further extension. The pay rate is $95-$102/hr on W2 (DOE), and the company offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid sick leave, and a 401K.

The role focuses on building data science and AI-driven solutions, including predictive patient event modeling, Next Best Action (NBA) engines for HCP engagement, and GenAI-powered decision agents to enhance commercial effectiveness. The ideal candidate will combine strong machine learning expertise with experience in GenAI agent development and scalable ML pipelines, enabling actionable insights for stakeholders across GDDI, Sales, Marketing, Sales Analytics, and Advanced Analytics functions.

Responsibilities include building predictive models for patient events and HCP engagement, scaling NBA solutions across brands and channels, developing GenAI agents, RAG workflows, and AI-powered decision tools, building and maintaining end-to-end ML pipelines (Databricks, AWS/Azure ML), applying MLOps best practices, and working with healthcare datasets.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field
• 5–7+ years in data science/ML (pharmaceutical commercial preferred)
• Strong Python, SQL, ML modeling, NLP
• Experience with LLMs, GenAI frameworks, LangChain/AutoGen
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, AWS/Azure ML, MLOps
