Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Freelance Videographer & Drone specialist to bring visual stories to life through compelling filming, editing, and aerial footage. As a key contributor to our media production team, you will produce high-quality videos and images that elevate brand presence across multiple platforms. Responsibilities

• Capture engaging video content using professional filming techniques, including aerial drone footage and ground-based videography.
• Operate drones safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations to obtain smooth, cinematic aerial shots.
• Edit videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro, ensuring seamless post-production workflows.
• Enhance visual content with photo editing tools like Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One, focusing on color management and photo manipulation.
• Develop creative concepts aligned with project goals, art direction, and client expectations.
• Manage social media content creation by producing captivating videos optimized for various digital platforms.
• Collaborate with clients or team members to understand project requirements, deliver on deadlines, and ensure high-quality results.

Requirements

• Proven experience in videography, including filming, editing, and post-production workflows.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom), Final Cut Pro, and Capture One for photo editing and color correction.
• Hands-on experience operating drones for professional video shoots while adhering to safety standards and legal regulations.
• Strong understanding of color theory, color management techniques, and art direction principles to produce visually compelling content.
• Knowledge of social media management best practices for content distribution across multiple channels.
• Background in journalism or storytelling is a plus for creating engaging narratives through visual media.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in both filming and editing processes.

Additional Information

Pay: From $100.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Marcos, CA 92069
