Job Description
AmigaSource.com, the world’s largest site for Commodore Amiga related information, is looking for a skilled web programmer to update a 24-year-old website. The primary requirement is to support dynamic content generation while adhering to HTML version 2.0. The job entails reviewing the current backend code and creating a simple admin portal for content editing. The existing site consists of 39 files (53kb) and is maintained manually without advanced technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, or CSS.
Requirements
- Motivation and a desire to help with a low-stress work approach.
- Optional: A good understanding of PHP and SQL is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Interest in classic, retro systems, particularly Commodore and the Amiga computer, is a significant bonus.
Working Environment
- Communication will be via video conferencing, email, and phone. A preference for local candidates for one-on-one discussions.
- Full access to the live test site.
- Flexible working hours.

- Significant planning and coding for version 2.0 has already been completed, with the site ready for updates.

Payment
