Job Description

Majestic Event Group / Alton Martin Wedding Photography is looking for a Remote Wedding Photo Editor / Lightroom Editor to assist with the editing of wedding, engagement, and event photo galleries. This is a remote freelance/contract position where the main responsibility is to edit RAW wedding and event photos in Adobe Lightroom Classic to match a clean, warm, natural, modern wedding photography style. Ideal candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and skilled with skin tones.

Requirements

• Experience editing weddings, portraits, or events
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom Classic
• Ability to match an existing editing style
• Good eye for natural skin tones and consistent color
• Reliable internet connection for file transfer
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Portfolio or before-and-after editing samples required

Responsibilities

• Cull and organize wedding, engagement, and event photo galleries
• Edit RAW files or Lightroom Smart Previews
• Correct exposure, white balance, color, contrast, and skin tones
• Maintain a consistent editing style across full galleries
• Crop and straighten images as needed
• Apply light retouching when necessary
• Return completed Lightroom catalogs or edited files by deadline
• Communicate clearly about turnaround time and project status

Preferred Qualifications

• Photoshop experience for light retouching
• Experience with wedding photography workflows
• Experience working with Lightroom catalogs or Smart Previews
• Experience culling large galleries

Pay

Pay is based on experience and project size, with an hourly range of $18–$25 per hour. Some projects may be compensated per completed gallery, with typical project pay ranging from $75–$150 for engagement or event galleries and $100–$250+ for wedding galleries depending on image count, culling, editing complexity, and deadline.

Schedule

This flexible remote contractor role has a varying workload based on bookings, with an estimated starting workload of approximately 5 hours per week and the potential for more work as wedding and event volume increases.
