Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, punctual, and professional Photographer/Videographer to join our growing team at JME Media, a division of Johnson Miller Enterprises, LLC. This part-time, event-based role involves capturing high-quality photos and videos at various events and client projects throughout the DMV area (Maryland, DC, Virginia). Ideal for individuals with basic to intermediate photography and/or videography skills who are eager to learn and grow. Training is available for the right candidate.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Basic to intermediate photography and/or videography experience
• Portfolio or sample work preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible event schedules
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift and transport equipment when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with event photography or videography
• Experience operating photo booths
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, DaVinci, or similar software
• Familiarity with social media and branded content creation
• Experience working in fast-paced event environments

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photos and video at events and client projects
• Set up, operate, and break down JME Media’s digital photo booth
• Interact professionally with clients, guests, and event attendees
• Operate cameras, lighting, and basic audio equipment
• Edit and organize photo and video content as assigned
• Manage media files, backups, and equipment care
• Follow creative direction and collaborate with team members
• Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work for all assignments
• Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $25.00 - $75.00 per hour (competitive hourly or per-project rate based on experience)
