Screenwriter needed for political drama pitch [Urgent]

Screenwriter is needed in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I am looking for an experienced screenwriter to develop and write a pitch for a political drama based on true events. The story is about a local leader trying to save his town as it declines, who decides to start a local party to bring about change, only to be struck by a serious health crisis. While recovering, he is supported by his ex-wife, but their relationship does not last. Soon after, a wealthy townsman agrees to fund the project on the condition that he takes the lead. With a team of mostly amateurs, he manages to build a political movement, facing internal challenges and ultimately electing a key local woman who becomes crucial in deciding the new mayor. I want the pitch to capture the story’s themes of local identity, political struggle, vulnerability, courage, and personal growth. There is no set deadline, as I would like to discuss the details with the freelancer first.

Who are you, and what do you do?
My name is Jens Kjær Nielsen, I live in Korsør and I work as the manager of the toll booth at Korsør. I founded the Great Belt List as an entity with elections and decisive influence. I think the way a heart-sick citizen founded a party of amateurs who ended up being quite talented is a funny story.
