Head of Marketing [Urgent]
The Role
This is a leadership role on the executive team. You will own the entire marketing function — from strategy and team management to execution and ROI analysis.
You will be extremely hands-on, working across performance marketing, content, SEO, PR, partnerships, and product marketing. You will manage a team, agencies, and freelancers to drive measurable growth in user acquisition, merchant adoption, and brand awareness globally.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with CoinGate’s business goals for B2B and B2C verticals
Set annual marketing budgets, goals, and KPIs in partnership with the CEO and leadership team
Act as the voice of the customer, shaping product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
Team & Resource Management
Lead, hire, and mentor a high-performing marketing team (content, performance, design)
Manage external agencies and freelancers to scale execution efficiently
Foster a data-driven, accountable culture focused on impact over activity
Performance Marketing & Growth
Own all acquisition channels: paid search (Google Ads), paid social (LinkedIn, Twitter, crypto-native networks), SEO, content marketing, email, and affiliate programs
Experiment continuously to find scalable, high-ROI channels for merchant acquisition and gift card user growth
Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics (CAC, LTV, ROMI, conversion rates) to executive leadership
Brand & Content
Drive brand awareness and thought leadership around MiCA compliance, crypto payments, and global payouts
Oversee content strategy (blog, case studies, white papers, webinars) targeting CFOs, developers, and e-commerce managers
Manage PR, media relations, and speaking opportunities at crypto and fintech conferences globally
Product Marketing & Partnerships
Partner with Product and Sales teams to launch new features (e.g., crypto payouts, WalletConnect integration) with compelling messaging
Develop partner marketing programs with crypto wallets, e-commerce platforms, and ecosystem partners
Represent CoinGate at industry events and in strategic partnership discussions
Requirements
Must-Have
7+ years of marketing experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role (Head of, Director, or Lead)
Proven track record driving B2B growth in fintech, SaaS, crypto payments, or a regulated financial service
Deep understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO/SEM, paid social, email, affiliate)
Extremely data-driven – you know CAC, LTV, payback period, and ROMI, and you use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau) to make decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience managing budgets and teams (in-house + agencies)
