Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate, motivated, and social media-savvy videographer to work with our dealership client in Portland, Oregon (Beaverton). If you thrive on capturing dynamic, high-quality content, collaborating with brands to bring their stories to life, and enjoy creating for social media, this role is for you.

This role will involve spending 5 hours for 1 day a week capturing footage, which will be used to create short-form clips for social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, as well as occasional long-form content depending on the client’s needs.

You will work as a contractor directly for the client while receiving guidance and support from our creative team.

Job Requirements

  • You need to have your own mirrorless video camera and wireless lav mics.
  • Flexibility to film on location, both in-office and on the go.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations.
  • Punctuality and commitment to meeting filming deadlines.
  • Being able to direct people and are strong minded.

Responsibilities

  • Filming 5 hours, 1 week day per week to start.
  • Capturing high-quality content across multiple locations or in-office settings.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their vision and create video content aligned with their brand goals.
  • Staying attuned to social media trends to ensure the captured footage aligns with current platform best practices.
  • Communicating regularly with our team to ensure client satisfaction and alignment on content goals.

Skill Requirements

  • Basic videography experience—whether from personal projects, hobbies, or client work.
  • Intuition for creating engaging social media content.
  • Strong understanding of your camera equipment and the ability to troubleshoot independently.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Clear and consistent communication with clients and our team.

Additional Information

Professional experience isn’t required, but having filming experience is a plus. This role involves filming and uploading only; no video editing is required. Job Types include Part-time, Contract, and Freelance, with a pay rate of $28.00 - $33.00 per hour.
