Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate, motivated, and social media-savvy videographer to work with our dealership client in Santee, CA. If you thrive on capturing dynamic, high-quality content, collaborating with brands to bring their stories to life, and enjoy creating for social media, this role is for you. As a contracted videographer, your role will be to spend 10 hours for 2 days a week with our client, capturing footage that will be used for social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, as well as occasional long-form content. You will work as a contractor directly for the client while receiving guidance and support from our creative team.

Requirements for the Role

Essential Equipment: You need to have your own mirrorless video camera and wireless lav mics.

• Filming experience is a plus, but professional experience is not required.
• Flexibility to film on location, both in-office and on the go.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations.
• Punctuality and commitment to meeting filming deadlines.
• Ability to direct people and be strong-minded.

Responsibilities

• Filming 10 hours per day to start.
• Capturing high-quality content across multiple locations or in-office settings.
• Working closely with clients to understand their vision and create video content aligned with their brand goals.
• Staying attuned to social media trends to ensure the captured footage aligns with current platform best practices.
• Communicating regularly with our team to ensure client satisfaction and alignment on content goals.

Skills Requirements

• Basic videography experience—whether from personal projects, hobbies, or client work.
• Intuition for creating engaging social media content.
• Strong understanding of your camera equipment and the ability to troubleshoot independently.
• Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced, creative environment.
