Job Description

8AM Creative is seeking a talented freelance Motion Graphics Designer & Animator to support various client projects. The role involves creating polished, professional animations for different formats and styles including short-form social media content, digital ads, brand videos, product explainers, presentations, and longer-form animated content. This is a freelance contractor position with project-based work and potential for ongoing collaboration.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation, and visual storytelling
• Ability to work across multiple visual styles and industries
• Experience following brand guidelines and maintaining consistency
• Ability to create and evolve illustration and animation styles when needed
• Strong design fundamentals, including typography, composition, color, and pacing
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable communication and responsiveness

What You’ll Do

• Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for digital marketing campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, and video content
• Animate existing brand assets while maintaining established visual identities
• Develop motion styles, illustration systems, and animation concepts for brands that don’t yet have a defined visual direction
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, strategists, and copywriters
• Prepare assets for multiple formats and platforms
• Manage projects efficiently and communicate timelines clearly
