Job Description
This is a remote position. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for the Open edX learning platform. The role involves platform deployment, customization, API integrations, and performance optimization of a high-scale LMS system.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ Years
Key Skills Required:
- Strong Python & Django expertise
- Open edX platform experience (Tutor, Docker)
- REST API development & backend architecture
- LTI 1.3, SSO & third-party integrations
- MySQL / MongoDB
- Celery / Redis for async processing
- Linux & CI/CD pipelines
- Basic AWS / cloud exposure (preferred)
