About the project
We’re sourcing original video footage on behalf of an AI research lab. We need clear, well-shot clips of everyday objects, actions and environments across eight categories.

You don’t need to be a professional videographer - you just need a good eye, a willingness to get out and capture the content, and access to a professional external microphone. High-quality audio is essential: the sound needs to be clean enough for individual noises to be separated into individual stems in post-production.

What we need filmed
Individual clips of two to five minutes each, a total of 1 hour per category, with each clip focused on a single subject or action, kept clearly in frame and in focus. Variety within a category is valuable.

We’re in the early stages of scoping this project across multiple contributors, so you don’t need to commit to a full hour. You might pitch one category at a full hour, or a mix — for example, 20 minutes of one category and 15 of another. We’re open to whatever makes sense for you at this stage

The eight categories:
1 - Vehicles — cars (engine, doors, brakes, horn), motorcycles, trucks, buses, trains, aircraft, boats, bicycles
2 - Domestic / home — kitchen appliances and utensils, cooking, doors and drawers, switches, plumbing, cleaning, household tools
3 - Animals — pets, farm animals, birds, insects, wildlife
4 - Natural elements — rain, streams and waves, wind, fire, thunder
5 - Ambient environments — urban streets, interiors, nature, crowds, markets and cafés
6 - Human actions — footsteps (varied surfaces and footwear), hand movements (claps, knocks), cloth and movement, eating and drinking
7 - Machines, mechanisms & tools — power tools, hand tools, industrial settings, motors and engines, mechanical clicks and ratchets
8 - Sports — ball, racket and bat impacts, footwear on court or turf, equipment, venue atmosphere

Technical requirements

• Microphone: Professional external microphone required — audio quality is the priority
• Resolution: 1080p preferred, 720p minimum
• Orientation: Landscape
• Clip length: 2–5 minutes each
• Framing: Subject clearly visible, close and in focus; camera kept steady

Rights
This is a full, exclusive buyout. All rights transfer to the client on payment. You must own everything you submit — no third-party copyrighted material, brand logos, or identifiable people without written consent.
