Job Description
The position available is for a Part-Time Content Creator at LetsTrade® in the Greater Reno Area. The role involves producing short-form vertical video content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels to promote the LetsTrade® app. The content should be casual and authentic, resonating with local communities and avoiding a corporate feel. The creator will collaborate closely with the LetsTrade® content and marketing team to test different content strategies aimed at increasing app downloads and brand engagement.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for the Content Creator position should possess the following attributes:
- Comfortable on camera
- Familiar with TikTok, Reels, and short-form content trends
- Creative and adaptable
- Strong communicators
- Self-motivated and consistent
- Interested in social media marketing, content creation, or digital branding
- Able to create content that feels natural and engaging
Preferred but not required:
- Experience creating & editing short-form videos
- Familiarity with marketplace, resale, fashion, college, or community-based content
- Reno familiarity
Additional Information
Compensation: LetsTrade® creators will be compensated with a base-pay plus performance incentives, with expected earnings between $20-30/hour based on content consistency and quality.
- 8–10 pieces of short-form content per month
- Approximately 5-10 hours of work per week
