Job Description

Starlight Media Agency is seeking a part-time freelance videographer based in Metro Atlanta to shoot content at clients’ locations. Your responsibilities include shooting, uploading organized footage to Google Drive, and logging everything in ClickUp, while the remote editing team handles post-production. This role offers recurring part-time work, with consistent performers receiving priority scheduling and additional clients.

Requirements

• Located in Metro Atlanta with reliable transportation.
• Own camera gear: mirrorless or DSLR, gimbal or stabilizer, and basic portable lighting.
• Experience in shooting restaurant or food content, ensuring appealing presentation on camera.
• Ability to direct talent on set, including staff, owners, or actors in scripted scenes.
• Default shooting and thinking in vertical format (9:16).
• Organizes and labels footage prior to uploading; clean file names, same-day or 24-hour turnaround.
• Follows shooting briefs closely without improvisation.
• Punctual and professional demeanor; travels to appointed locations according to client schedules.
• Ability to use ClickUp or willingness to learn quickly.
• Spanish language skills are a strong asset; many clients are Spanish-speaking.

Coverage Area

You must have the ability to drive to client locations across Metro Atlanta, which include:

• Gwinnett County: Lawrenceville, Buford, Duluth, Norcross, Stone Mountain.
• DeKalb County: Chamblee, Doraville, Tucker, Decatur, Clarkston.
• Cobb County: Marietta, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Austell.
• Fulton County: Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta.

Reliable personal transportation is required, as all shoots occur in-person at client locations.

Tools You Will Use

• ClickUp: for task management, shoot briefs, communication, and status updates.
• Google Drive: for footage upload and file organization.
• Your own camera gear: camera body, gimbal or stabilizer, and portable lighting for food shots.

Compensation

• $25 per hour for entry-level videographers with general content experience.
• $45 per hour for experienced videographers with strong food and social media content portfolios; bilingual preferred.
• Billable hours include active shoot time and travel between locations within the same session.
• Paid via direct transfer, Zelle, or an agreed method.
• Typical session lasts 2 to 3 hours.

Portfolio - Required

Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed. Please include:

• Links to 2 to 3 video samples you shot: Reels, TikToks, short-form clips, or raw footage (public links only: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google Drive, or Dropbox).
• At least 1 food or restaurant shoot.
• At least 1 vertical-format clip (9:16) that you composed and filmed.
• Your gear list: camera body, lenses, stabilizer, and lighting used for shoots.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
