Job Description

We are seeking a versatile, trend-savvy Freelance Multimedia Content Creator who is equally comfortable behind the camera producing aesthetic visuals as crafting compelling written copy. In this role, you will be a one-person creative engine—helping to bring our professional and consumer beauty product lines to life across social media, email campaigns, our website, and blogs. The ideal candidate lives and breathes the beauty industry, understands digital storytelling, and can independently produce clean, engaging content that aligns perfectly with our brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

1. Visual Production & Social Content

• Short-Form Video: Concept, script, film, and edit engaging high-quality short-form videos (TikToks, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) featuring our product lines (unboxings, product demonstrations, tutorials, and trends).
• Aesthetic Photography: Capture and edit clean, crisp product photography for social feeds, website banners, and marketing materials.
• Trend Spotting: Actively monitor beauty and social media trends to pitch and execute timely, relevant content ideas.

2. Copywriting & Digital Marketing

• Brand Copywriting: Write engaging, punchy social media captions and video scripts that drive audience interaction.
• Email & Web Content: Craft creative copy for email marketing campaigns and write educational, SEO-friendly blog posts regarding beauty trends, tips, and product care.
• Asset Management: Deliver clean, finalized visual and written assets ready for scheduling according to our marketing calendar.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3–4 years of proven experience creating content specifically within the Beauty Industry (experience with nail care, skincare, or cosmetics is highly preferred).
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a high-end visual aesthetic, sharp short-form video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, etc.), and excellent marketing copywriting.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to write in an engaging, conversational tone while maintaining strict attention to grammar and detail.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices for blog writing.
• Highly organized self-starter who can manage independent project deadlines seamlessly.

Work Location & Schedule

• Hybrid Remote: Candidates must be local to the Los Angeles area (90006).
• While day-to-day work is remote, you must be available to come on-site 2 to 3 times a month for content planning, product pick-ups, or staging collaborative on-site shoots.

Compensation
