Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Marketing Manager to help execute multi-channel marketing initiatives that support brand growth, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who enjoys creating content, managing campaigns, and coordinating projects across a variety of digital platforms. You’ll work under the direction of the Marketing Director and collaborate with other team members and contractors to keep our brand presence sharp, cohesive, and effective.

ABOUT GREENSAVERS: GreenSavers is a contractor focused on home energy efficiency in Portland and Central Oregon. For multiple years, the US EPA and DOE selected GreenSavers from 1,450 contractors across the country as ENERGY STAR® Contractor of the Year. The mission is to improve lives, inspire our team, and serve our communities by building in a better, more holistic way. In January 2018, we became the first dedicated home performance contractor in the country to join the B Corp community, certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong working knowledge of all major social and community platforms.
  • Experience creating video-first content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
  • Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Shopify and other website platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar).
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong organization and time management; ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills and on-camera confidence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Asana or similar project management software.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles (SEO, engagement metrics, audience segmentation).
  • Interest in sustainability, home performance, and green energy industries.
  • Understanding of community engagement and reputation management platforms (Yelp, Angi’s, Google Reviews).
  • Experience updating website content (WordPress, Shopify, or similar).

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media & Community Management:
  • Manage day-to-day posting, engagement, and monitoring across all social channels.
  • Develop and execute the content calendar in alignment with overall marketing strategy.
  • Repurpose existing content for social use.
  • Respond to comments and messages promptly; provide customer service where needed.
  • Create and publish engaging content optimized for each platform.
  • Act as the social-first face of the brand.
  • Proactively engage with aligned accounts and local influencers.
  • Develop initiatives such as giveaways and collaborations to boost engagement.
  • Email Marketing:
  • Build and schedule marketing emails using Klaviyo or equivalent.
  • Maintain audience lists and automations.
  • Create compelling subject lines and visuals.
  • Monitor email performance and suggest improvements.
  • Content Development:
  • Write and edit case studies, blog posts, and newsletters.
  • Ensure brand consistency in all content.
  • Collaborate to create seasonal campaign materials.
  • Support the CEO’s content strategy and calendar.
  • Campaign & Asset Coordination:
  • Coordinate content, creative, and deadlines for campaigns.
  • Update marketing collateral.
  • Assist with photo and video shoots.
  • Capture content at in-person events as needed.
  • Performance & Reporting:
  • Track and report metrics for social media and email performance.
  • Maintain dashboards and monthly reports.
  • Participate in marketing check-ins.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Stay informed about industry trends and local events.
  • Contribute to internal brainstorms and marketing planning sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
