Job Description

This is a remote position where you will take a locked script and transform it into a four-minute video that meets high standards, comparable to Linear’s product reel or an Apple keynote. You will own the entire pipeline, including storyboarding, motion graphics with 3D depth, animated product UI, edits with spokesperson cuts against narrator VO, and typography and color choices throughout the video. The company aims to ship one to four long-form videos each month, along with short-form cutdowns for various customer visibility in product launches, sales decks, and paid campaigns.

Requirements

• Experience producing long-form marketing videos from start to finish, with a portfolio that demonstrates your range.
• Advanced skills in After Effects, including expressions, shape layers, and strong command of camera and 3D layers.
• Working fluency in at least one 3D tool (C4D, Blender, or Element 3D) and the ability to discern when to use 3D elements in a cut.
• Strong editing skills with an understanding of pacing, music synchronization, and the ability to cut around a stiff VO take in a five-minute video.
• Defensible taste in typography and color, with the ability to explain design choices.
• Comfort with animating product UI elements, including zooms, scrolls, hover states, and callouts that are clear at 1080p and on mobile screens.
• Self-direction and initiative to create a storyboard from a script without needing extensive guidance.

Bonus Points

• Experience shipping video content for a B2B SaaS or dev tool brand that stands out from typical B2B design.
• Portfolio includes original Cinema 4D or Blender work that you built from scratch.
• Experience directing a spokesperson shoot or managing a remote VO session.
• Ability to perform sound design independently or with a preferred sound designer.

This role requires strong technical skills and a creative vision to effectively tell product stories through video content. A proven track record of high-quality video production is essential.
