Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Mural Artist to bring vibrant, large-scale visual stories to life through innovative wall art projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to transform public and private spaces with captivating murals that reflect community, culture, and creativity. As a mural artist, you will collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to conceptualize and execute impactful artwork that enhances environments and inspires viewers. Your expertise in digital art, graphic design, and visual storytelling will be essential in creating murals that leave a lasting impression.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mural art creation, including large-scale wall projects or public art installations
• Strong skills in digital art tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, CorelDRAW, and InVision for conceptualization and presentation
• Proficiency in graphic design fundamentals including typography, layout design, color management, and visual storytelling
• Knowledge of sign manufacturing techniques and materials suitable for outdoor or indoor murals
• Familiarity with web design elements like HTML, CSS, WordPress, and content management systems for digital integration or promotional purposes
• Experience with video editing (Adobe After Effects) or motion graphics is a plus for multimedia projects
• Ability to work with various mediums including photography, photo manipulation, illustration, and digital design tools
• Excellent presentation skills to communicate ideas effectively to clients and stakeholders

Duties

• Develop creative concepts and detailed sketches for mural projects aligned with client visions and project goals
• Prepare surfaces and select appropriate materials to ensure durability and optimal visual impact
• Execute large-scale murals using various techniques such as spray painting, brushwork, stenciling, or mixed media
• Incorporate branding elements, typography, color theory, and visual design principles to craft compelling compositions
• Collaborate with interior designers, architects, or community stakeholders to ensure artwork aligns with overall project aesthetics
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and logistics to deliver high-quality murals on schedule
• Document progress through photography and digital media; create promotional content for portfolios and marketing efforts
