Book Launch [Urgent]

PR Freelancer is needed in Lagos, Nigeria.

We are preparing to launch a new crime fiction book this fall and are looking for a Field PR / Events Coordinator to help ensure the campaign’s success. You will support the author by coordinating media appearances, managing event logistics, supporting field outreach, and ensuring smooth community engagement. This role involves confirming and tracking media interviews, arranging deliveries of media kits and promotional materials, and liaising with bookstores, media outlets, and community groups. You will need to maintain up-to-date records of event progress, guest lists, and outreach actions, deliver regular field activity reports, and provide basic photography or video coverage when needed. Successful applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in PR support, events coordination, or related fields, be able to multitask efficiently, and have strong communication skills. Experience supporting book launches or media tours is a plus. Local travel in Lagos and the surrounding area will be required.
