Job Description

Moving Tree Media is a short-form video marketing company based in the Twin Cities, focusing on helping small and mid-sized businesses maintain their visibility through effective video content. We are looking for a content creator rather than a traditional videographer, someone who can capture authentic videos using their phone, engage with clients, and create content that resonates on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

Requirements

Non-negotiable:

• Proven experience creating short-form video content for businesses.
• Deep knowledge of trends and performance on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels.
• Proficiency with CapCut or similar mobile editing applications.
• Ability to direct nervous individuals on camera effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to make clients comfortable.
• Available for shoots on a 48-hour notice period.
• A smartphone capable of high-quality vertical video shooting.

Strong to Have:

• Experience with construction, home services, or B2B clients.
• Understanding of the impact of consistency and variety on algorithm performance.
• Ability to manage content production for multiple clients simultaneously.

Additional Information

Quick Facts:

Schedule and Pay:

This is an independent contractor position starting with 5 to 10 hours per week, with the opportunity for growth. Pay is $25 per hour. A paid trial of two to three shoots will occur before a longer commitment is made.
