Job Description

Sports Broadcast Solutions (SBS) is a Broadcasting Network catering to non-professional athletes by offering live broadcasts with options in 720P HD, 1080P HD, and 4K. SBS provides a range of services, including live score banners, commercial break videos, pregame interviews, play-by-play commentary, and live stats. We are currently seeking both paid and pro bono videographers and technical directors for our in-person broadcasts/telecasts.

Requirements

• Ability to respond quickly to mass Blind Carbon Copy emails.
• Demonstrated passion for the product; a focus on quality framing.
• Preferred sports videography demo reel.
• Previous experience in videography, especially live sports, is highly recommended but not mandatory.
• Ability to shoot with the mindset of editing; filming without relying on post-production fixes.
• Capacity to thrive in a somewhat stressful environment; passion for the product can ease challenges.
• Understanding that this role involves live broadcasting.
• Capability to perform as a technical director, slow motion instant replay video editor, or StatCrew digital live statistics technician when videography roles are unavailable.
• Enjoyment of non-professional sports broadcasts, with primary engagement in travel baseball, high school athletics, college athletics, AAU basketball, and Pop Warner football.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Broadcast Journalism, or a related field is highly recommended.

Compensation

Pay ranges from $50.00 to $62.00 per hour.
