Artful Home & Uno Alla Volta connects customers with handmade work from independent artists. We are hiring a freelance Retention Marketing Specialist to own our email program and turn one-time buyers into loyal, repeat customers. This is a hands-on contract role for someone who lives in the ESP and loves testing, measuring, and improving every send.

Responsibilities

• Build, QA, and deploy email campaigns and lifecycle flows (welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, win-back, VIP)
• Develop segmentation strategy to drive repeat purchases and customer lifetime value
• Run a continuous A/B testing roadmap and report on retention KPIs
• Manage deliverability, list health, and re-engagement
• Partner with Creative and Merchandising to keep email on-brand and on-calendar

Requirements

• 2+ years in email/CRM/lifecycle retention marketing, ideally in DTC eCommerce
• Hands-on ESP experience
• Proven track record improving retention through segmentation, automation, and testing
• Strong analytics skills and sharp attention to detail
• Self-directed, organized, and able to run a full email calendar independently
