Job Description
WGBA, the E.W. Scripps NBC station in Green Bay, is now hiring for a contractor/Freelance Videographer to perform Sports Production. This role involves capturing visual content for multiple platforms, operating and maintaining live equipment during sporting events, and handling the setup and teardown of equipment.
Requirements
What You’ll Need:
- A basic knowledge of sports (Football & Basketball).
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required. Proof of insurance and liability coverage may be required.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proficiency with lighting and computer-based editing.
- Proficiency with live microwave truck operation.
- Knowledge and demonstration of creativity, editorial judgment, journalistic ethics, and libel laws.
- Able to work efficiently under deadlines.
- Team player mentality.
