Job Description

This is a remote position. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to design, develop, optimize, and maintain company websites and digital assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building responsive, user-friendly websites, implementing SEO best practices, improving website performance, and supporting digital marketing initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with marketing, content, and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

Website Development & Maintenance:

• Design, develop, and maintain company websites and landing pages.
• Build responsive websites that ensure optimal user experience across various devices.
• Maintain website functionality, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and technical errors.
• Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance activities.

Front-End & Back-End Development:

• Develop and maintain website features, functionality, and integrations.
• Implement custom themes, templates, and enhancements.
• Work with APIs, plugins, and third-party applications as necessary.
• Optimize code for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Collaborate with designers on functional web experiences.

Website Optimization & Performance:

• Monitor and enhance website speed and overall performance.
• Optimize for Core Web Vitals and user experience metrics.
• Conduct website audits and implement improvements.
• Ensure accessibility and cross-browser compatibility standards are met.

SEO Implementation:

• Implement technical SEO best practices.
• Optimize site structure, metadata, schema markup, and relevant files.
• Assist content teams with on-page SEO implementation.
• Monitor website indexing and visibility.
• Resolve technical SEO issues affecting rankings.

Landing Page & Conversion Optimization:

• Create and optimize landing pages for marketing campaigns.
• Implement forms, tracking scripts, and conversion tools.
• Conduct A/B testing to recommend improvements.
• Support marketing initiatives with campaign-specific web assets.

Security & Compliance:

• Maintain website security and monitor vulnerabilities.
• Implement security updates and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection requirements.
• Monitor uptime and reliability.

Analytics & Tracking:

• Configure and maintain Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and other tools.
• Implement event and conversion tracking.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide recommendations.
• Generate reports on traffic and user behavior.

Collaboration & Project Management:

• Coordinate with marketing, SEO, content, and design teams.
• Manage multiple web development projects and meet deadlines.
• Document development processes and maintain documentation.

Requirements

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional web development experience.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Experience with WordPress and content management systems.
• Knowledge of hosting, DNS management, and deployment processes.
• Experience with third-party tools, APIs, and marketing platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with SEO-focused websites.
• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, React, or modern frameworks.
• Experience with performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• Familiarity with CRM integrations and marketing automation tools.
• Experience in digital marketing and lead generation initiatives.
• Experience in finance, investment, legal, or regulated industries.
