Job Description

We are seeking an experienced German voice actor to contribute to the evolution of AI through the provision of high-quality training data. As a German Voice Acting Specialist – AI Trainer, you will utilize your voice expertise to improve voice experiences across various sectors, including education, entertainment, and accessibility. Your role will involve recording and evaluating German speech samples and providing insights on pronunciation, tone, pacing, and emotional expression to enhance voice models.

Your typical daily responsibilities will include recording scripted material, assessing AI-generated outputs for linguistic accuracy and naturalness, annotating errors, and collaborating with the team to refine prompts and voice design guidelines.

Requirements

Fluency in German is required, along with proven experience in professional voice acting, dubbing, narration, or related performance work. Additional experience in training, coaching, or linguistic annotation is a plus. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for this role. Candidates must also possess a high-quality recording setup that includes a reliable microphone and a quiet recording environment.

Additional Information

This is a contract position with remote work options available. The pay range is $6 to $65 per hour, determined based on evaluated experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from this pay range. As a contractor, you are responsible for providing a secure computer, high-quality microphone, recording setup, and stable internet connection. Company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.
