Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Japanese voice actor to help shape the future of AI. As a Japanese Voice Acting Specialist – AI Trainer, you will contribute to the development of large-scale language models and speech technologies that focus on human-like communication.

Your role will involve recording and evaluating Japanese speech samples, offering feedback on pronunciation, tone, pacing, and emotional expression to enhance voice models. Daily tasks will include recording scripted material, assessing AI-generated outputs for accuracy and naturalness, annotating errors, and collaborating with the team to improve prompts, evaluation methods, and voice design guidelines.

Requirements

Fluency in Japanese is required. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in professional voice acting, dubbing, narration, or related performance work. Experience in training, coaching, or linguistic annotation is a plus. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. A high-quality recording setup, including a reliable microphone and a quiet environment, is necessary.

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is $6 to $65 per hour, with the final rate determined by experience, expertise, and geographic location. Contractors are responsible for supplying a secure computer, high-quality microphone, recording setup, and stable internet connection. Company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.
