ABOUT THE FILM

Xibalba: Seven Years in the Dark is a visually striking psychological short set in Barcelona. In just three minutes, the film explores a rapid descent through symbolic stages of fear, temptation, and transformation. Through atmospheric visuals and minimal dialogue, the story captures an intense emotional journey unfolding in real time.

This is a cinematic short with a strong artistic vision, blending mystery, surrealism, and psychological tension.

Gender: Male

Age Range: 30–45

Ethnicity: Open

We are looking for an actor with strong dramatic ability and emotional depth. The role requires subtle, powerful performances rather than exaggerated acting.

Ideal qualities:

  • Excellent screen presence
  • Comfortable with psychological and emotional material
  • Expressive with minimal dialogue
  • Physically fit
  • Fluent English preferred
  • Previous film experience is an advantage but not essential
