Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to join our small women’s fashion brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for web development and design, bringing innovative ideas to life through visually appealing and user-friendly websites. The role is in-office and not possible to work from home. The candidate should have extensive experience working with Shopify-based websites. As a growing brand, other opportunities may arise for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Create a new website for our brand; we will provide creative direction.
• Collaborate with the brand founder, marketers, and content creators to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
• Update our Shopify store on both the back end and front end.
• Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Stay updated with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing, especially in luxury fashion.
• Maintain brand consistency across all web platforms.

Requirements

• Proficiency in web development languages, with Shopify platform knowledge a must.
• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite for visual design tasks.
• Proficiency in Shopify, Square Space, and Page Fly.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details to create visually stunning luxury-focused websites.
