Job Description

We have an urgent requirement for a Senior Developer/Senior Software Engineer on a contract basis in Australia. The role involves designing and developing custom software solutions that meet legal and regulatory requirements, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring solutions adhere to security, compliance, and audit standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom software solutions tailored to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Translate regulatory and compliance needs into scalable technical implementations.
• Collaborate with network and engineering teams to support Lawful Interception (LI) and specialized systems.
• Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and audit standards.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code.
• Participate in solution architecture, system integration, and performance optimization.
• Support ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of applications.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience delivering legal and regulatory compliant software solutions.
• Strong background in software development and system design.
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., telecom, government, or security domains).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Lawful Interception (LI) systems or similar regulated technologies.
• Experience with network-integrated applications or telecom environments.
• Familiarity with API development, Java microservices architecture, and modern development frameworks.

Additional Information

Duration: 6 Months and possible extension.
