Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Windows QA Engineer with 5-8 years experience in IT systems, endpoint management, and Windows environments. This role blends quality assurance with IT support expertise, ensuring reliability, performance, and usability across Windows-based systems and infrastructure.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 3–6+ years of experience in QA Engineering with strong Windows ecosystem exposure.
- Hands-on experience building OS deployment images and task sequences for Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint/device management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of software packaging, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with virtual machines and virtualization platforms.
- Practical experience with Hyper-V installation, configuration, and support.
- Background in IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support environments.
- Solid understanding of file systems, permissions, and enterprise file management.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Background:
- Experience with test automation tools or scripting (PowerShell preferred).
- Familiarity with Azure-based environments and cloud-managed endpoints.
- Exposure to security practices, patching, and vulnerability validation.
- Experience in enterprise IT environments supporting multiple users/endpoints.
- Understanding of Windows deployment processes.
- Knowledge of Endpoint Management (Intune).
