Job Description

Newpage Solutions is looking for a Mid-Senior Python Developer to join the Content Supply Chain Platforms team. This position involves contributing to the automation, integration, and AI-augmented tooling that supports the content supply chain. The ideal candidate should be highly adaptable, curious about new technologies, and skilled in using AI tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot. Responsibilities include building Python-based solutions, optimizing workflows, collaborating with team members, and exploring AI-assisted workflows.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Python Development & Automation: Build and maintain Python scripts, develop integrations between MarTech platforms, write documented code, optimize scripts, and participate in code reviews.
• AI-Augmented Development: Use Claude and GitHub Copilot, design prompts for LLM tools, prototype AI workflows, and document best practices.
• Platform Integration & Data Engineering: Build API integrations, develop ETL processes, troubleshoot integration failures, and maintain documentation.
• Agile Delivery & Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, communicate progress, support UAT, and contribute to sprint planning.
• Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Take ownership of technical challenges, identify workflow inefficiencies, document solutions, and mentor junior developers.

What You Bring:

• Expert-level Python development experience.
• Proficiency in Claude (Anthropic) and GitHub Copilot.
• Practical prompt engineering skills.
• Ability to solve ambiguous technical challenges.
• Desire to learn emerging technologies.
• Effective communication in cross-functional Agile teams.
• Experience working in a remote/nearshore team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of professional Python development experience.
• Experience using Claude (Anthropic) or equivalent tools.
• Strong experience with REST API integration.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with MarTech platforms like Veeva Vault or Adobe AEM.
• Familiarity with content supply chain and omnichannel marketing technology.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Knowledge of data engineering tools.
• Experience in highly regulated industry environments.
• Proficiency in English for effective collaboration.
