Job Description

We are urgently seeking a SharePoint & Power Platform developer/Technical Lead for a contract position in Brisbane. This role requires a highly skilled individual to support various projects and solutions directly with the client, with responsibilities including developing Power Apps and Power Automate-based apps, providing architecture and functional support to enhance capabilities in Microsoft 365, and identifying areas for process improvement.

Requirements

Must Have:

• At least 5+ years’ experience as a SharePoint & Power Platform developer.
• Extensive experience in Office 365 development utilising Power Apps, Flows, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online modern UI, permissions, out-of-the-box web parts and features, user profile services, site templates, Hub sites, and administration portal.
• Experience creating standalone, highly customized Canvas Apps with fully configurable user interfaces and layouts.
• Ability to think, architect, and design the UX of the App while simplifying source system features using SharePoint OOB, Power Platform, and Azure services features.
• Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Flow.
• A clear understanding of Power Apps formulas, limitations, Power Platform licensing, and development methods.
• Experience in migration of SharePoint applications using Share Gate.
• Preferred Certifications: PL 900 and PL 400 - Microsoft Power Platform Developer.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technologies, technical and business concepts to multiple audiences.

Good-to-Have:

• Experience in SharePoint Framework extension (SPFx) using React JS.
• Experience in SharePoint on-prem, SharePoint designer and customized web parts, SharePoint master page and layout.
• Ticketing tool knowledge in Cherwell or Service Now.
• Proficient in creating PowerShell scripts using CSOM, PnP Power Shell, and other modules.

Expectations from the Role

• Work directly with the client to support various projects and solutions.
• Responsible for developing Power Apps and Power Automate-based apps.
• Development of Azure logic apps.
• Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
• Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
• Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged to facilitate process improvement.
• Involved in end-to-end project activities including assessment, requirement gathering, planning, development, testing, UAT, Go-Live, post-live support, and enhancements.
• Provide consultation on various business requirements considering the latest tools and technology, performance checks, and test coverage.
• Provide effort estimation considering cost and timeline for the project, including number of resources, software costs, phase-wise project plan, and assumptions.
• Write and maintain application artefacts like technical and functional design documents, test cases, and deployment guidelines documents.
• Work on new enhancements, liaise with business users, understand requirements, and deliver solutions while coordinating with other team members.
