Job Description

Horseman’s Gravity Latch is a new product designed to make pipe gates easier, safer, and more practical to open, close, and secure. We are looking to hire a freelance graphic designer to create the official logo for the brand. This first project is focused on logo design. If the project goes well, there may be opportunities for additional design work as we continue building the brand.

Requirements

• Graphic design student, senior, recent graduate, or freelance designer
• Strong eye for logo design, typography, and brand identity
• Able to create work that feels clean, useful, and memorable
• Interested in product design, branding, agriculture, farm/ranch products, outdoor products, or practical consumer goods
• Comfortable working on a real product launch with practical business needs
• Portfolio or samples of design work required

Responsibilities

• Develop logo concepts for Horseman’s Gravity Latch
• Refine the selected direction based on feedback
• Create a final logo that works across digital and print materials
• Provide final logo files in standard formats for web, print, and branding use
• Conceptualize how the logo will appear on the website, packaging, marketing materials, and product-related assets

Compensation

This is a fixed-fee project. The selected designer will be paid $1,000 for the completed logo design project. Additional projects, if offered, would be discussed and agreed on separately.

Additional Information

We are looking for someone who can help create a strong first visual identity for a new product built to solve a common pipe gate problem. Work location is remote or Bloomington, IN area preferred.
