Job Description

This is a remote position for a Senior Data Analyst (Part-Time) in the Clinical Information Solution (CIS) / Data Management department. The role is located remotely in Canada, with quarterly travel to New Brunswick as required. The contract is for a duration of 2 years (from July 13, 2026 – July 12, 2028) with options for renewal. This part-time engagement will require approximately 2–3 business days of work per week and candidates must be available during standard SNB business hours.

Service New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support the Symbio Clinical Information Solution Program, aimed at healthcare transformation in New Brunswick. The successful consultant will play a vital role in defining data retention strategies, supporting healthcare data migration, establishing data quality standards, and ensuring regulatory compliance while preserving access to historical clinical information.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications (M1–M7): Candidates must demonstrate the following:

• M1: Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following:
• Computer Science
• Business Administration
• Health Informatics
• Related discipline
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
• M2: Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in:
• Gathering data requirements
• Validating business and technical data requirements
• Data extraction
• Data profiling
• Developing detailed ETL specifications
• M3: Minimum of 10 years of healthcare experience emphasizing:
• Health Information Systems
• Healthcare technology
• Healthcare software
• Healthcare standards
• M4: Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering healthcare data migration projects involving large-scale Clinical Information Systems (CIS) within Canadian hospital environments, including:
• Specific CIS platforms
• Role in migration activities
• Healthcare data migration responsibilities
• M5: Ability to facilitate meetings and workshops in:
• English
• French
• M6: Resume must:

Other Information

The role involves key responsibilities including data requirements and strategy, data validation and quality, master data management, data mapping and transformation, stakeholder collaboration, and documentation.
